NOTE TO EDITORS: ACRS SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING DATE AND TOPIC CHANGED The date and subject of a Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards subcommittee meeting has been changed.
The meeting of the subcommittee on reliability and probabilistic risk assessment has been changed from January 21 to January 25. It will be held at 1:00 p.m. in Room T-2B3 of the NRC's Two White Flint North Building at 11545 Rockville Pike. The subcommittee will discuss the use of frequency-consequence curves (a tool for analyzing risks) in risk-informed decision making. The subcommittee will not review proposed options to make 10 CFR 50.59 risk-informed, as previously announced.
All other aspects of the meeting remain the same as described in a Federal Register notice published on December 23.
