NRC CHAIRMAN TO ANNOUNCE MAJOR REORGANIZATION NRC Chairman Shirley Ann Jackson will announce a major reorganization of the agency Monday (Dec. 2).
She will address the staff on closed-circuit television at 1:30 p.m. (EST), and will conduct a press conference immediately thereafter in the auditorium of the Two White Flint Building at 11545 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Md.
Reporters who wish to cover the announcement and press conference are asked to notify the NRC Office of Public Affairs in advance and to be at the auditorium no later than 1:20 p. m.
Special seating will be set aside for news organizations.
News crews needing to make parking arrangements are also asked to call in advance.
NRC's offices are at the intersection of Rockville Pike and Marinelli Road near the White Flint station of the Washington Metro Red Line.
