FAILURE TO FIND SEALED SOURCE DURING ROUTINE INVENTORY CHECK I
- The licensee reported that a routine inventory check failed to locate a 4.5 curie americium - 241 source. The source was supposed to have been stored at either of the licensee's field offices at Ardmore and Yukon, Oklahoma.
The inventory checks are being repeated at these and other licensee field offices.
I Neither Region IV nor the licensee issued a press release.
The state of Oklahoma has been notified.
