STOLEN GAUSE A Troxler gauge technician, going of f cluty, from a DC jobsite, was robbed at gunpoint in Largo, MD near the DC line late yestercay afternoon, and his car with the gauge in the trunk was stolen. MD police were notified, and the technician reported that the Model 34118 gauge wat locked in a shielded position. The licensee has notifieo the MD and DC police of the potentially hazardous nature of the gauge. M0 Health Department officials have been notified by the licensee. Region II has notified NMSS, Region I, Public Affairs and Virginia officials. The stolen car was a late model red Pontiac LaMans. The licensee will update Region II with details as they become available. l The NRC received initial notification of this event by telephone from the licensee.
