SERIOUS PERSONNEL INJURY The licensee reported that at approximately I:30 PM, on 6eptember 9,1980, a portable gantry fell on a summer work / study student working in the reactor building, causing an apparent fractured skull and internal injuries. The reactor was shutdown at the time and no radiation or contamination was involved.

The Commonwealth of Massachsetts and OSHA Region I have beeti notified of the occurrence.
