This is an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session. The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.
Purpose:
Discuss the objectives and conceptual framework of for the advanced reactor construction oversight process (ARCOP).

Note: The afternoon portion of the meeting will include small group exercises where examples of hypothetical inspection issues will be screened using draft concepts presented in the morning session. As such, the afternoon portion will be in-person only.
A summary of the results of those exercises will be included in the meeting summary and presented at a subsequent workshop for those who could not attend the in-person meeting.
