Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to continue discussions with X-energy to familiarize the NRC staff with Chapter 3 of the preliminary assessment report (PSAR) for the X-energy reactor technology to support the planned readiness assessment of the PSAR and construction permit application for the Dow Chemical Company site in Seadrift, TX. The NRC staff met with X-energy on September 6 (ML23233A003) to discuss this topic.
