This is a Comment-Gathering Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to receive comments from participants on specific NRC decisions and actions to ensure that NRC staff understands their views and concerns.
Purpose:
To discuss the current framework under development by the NRC staff to address a gap in the Reactor Oversight Process (ROP) regarding inspection of PRA Configuration Controls of risk-informed programs (e.g., Risk-Informed Completion Times (RICT), Surveillance Frequency Control Program (SFCP), NFPA 805, 10 CFR 50.69). The framework includes a conceptual tier approach for future oversight of risk-informed programs, a conceptual PRA Configuration Control Inspection and an Information Gathering and Guidance Development effort to be discussed with industry stakeholders.
