Notice of Public Meeting with Holtec International - Discussion of Proposed Responses to NRC RAIs for the Holtec HI-STORE CISF Review Date(s) and Time(s): August 03, 2021, 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM EST Location: Webinar Category: This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

To discuss Holtec International's proposed responses to NRC staff's request for additional information (RAIs), issued in connection with the licensing review of Chapter 2 of the Safety Analysis Report for the proposed HI-STORE Consolidated Interim Storage Facility in Lea County, New Mexico.
