Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting is for the Nuclear Energy Institute to present specific ideas or areas for changes to enhance the fuel cycle oversight program to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff. The NRC staff recently issued a working group charter to look for areas of transformation and innovation in the oversight program. The charter for the Working Group on Building a Smarter Fuel Cycle Inspection Program is available via NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML19074A139.
