OFFICE OF INVESTIGATIONS CASE NUMBER 2-2019-005

Dear Mr. Stoddard:

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Office of Investigations (OI) has closed the subject case to determine whether an employee was discriminated against and terminated for raising safety concerns at the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station, Unit 1.

The NRC determined that based upon the evidence developed during the investigation there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation that the employee was discriminated against and terminated for raising safety concerns. We plan no further action with regard to this matter. Should you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact us.
