NUREG/CR-6733, A BASELINE RISK-INFORMED, PERFORMANCE-BASED APPROACH FOR IN SITU LEACH URANIUM EXTRACTION LICENSEES - FINAL REPORT Enclosed is a copy of the final report entitled, "A Baseline Risk-Informed, Performance-Based Approach for In Situ Leach Uranium Extraction Licensees," which was completed by the Center for Nuclear Waste Regulatory Analyses. Messrs. Pat Mackin and Darius Daruwalla presented the findings from this effort during the 2001 Uranium Recovery Workshop and provided a sign up sheet for receiving a copy of the report when it became final. The enclosed copy is the final version, as it is being sent for publication. This report will be published as NUREG/CR-6733 within the next few weeks and will also be made available through the NRC Web Site and NRC's document System ADAMS. The staff will be reviewing this report and other information, over the next few monthg to identify ways of risk-informing the licensing and inspection programs for in situ leach facilities.
