IE BULLETIN 80-24 CLOSEOUT Enclosed is a copy of NUREG/CR-4524 pertaining to-the closecut of IE Bulletin 80-24, " Prevention of Damage Due to Water leakage Inside Containment." This report was prepared by Parameter, Inc.- under contract to IE.. Management of this contract has passed to NRR after the recent reorganization. Parameter's review effort included evaluation of utility responses and NRC inspection reports for the 69 operating nuclear pcwer 31 ants to which the bulletin was issued for action. The bulletin was also issued for information to holders of construction permits.
Parameter's review of utility responses and NRC inspection reports determined that the bulletin has been closed out for all of the 69 facilities to which it was issued for action. NRR has reviewed NUREG/CR-452? and concurs in the con-tractor's conclusion that IEB 80-24 is now considered closed.
