I Enclosed are two 3-1/2 inch diskettes: one containing the DMA demonstration, l another containing data files that are part of.the work associated with l NUREG/CR-4199. Also, enclosed is a table describing the files. '
Because our focus is safety, there is a request that is the same as one made on the original work. If a real safety problem is identified in your analysis of this data, please notify us before you report your results in' any public forum. We would assure that it is a safety problem and, if so, notify the utility.
We are currently not funding work on DMA, but we are looking for improved ways (including tools) to regulate fault-tolerant systems. We have looked for tools to assist NRC reviewers in evaluating the quality of software and hardware for use in nuclear power plant safety systems. I am interested in what you are developing and will share your website with others here.

i Enclosure Description of Data Files Diskette label: Frank Coffman (301-415-5698)
Diskette: Double-sided, high-density 3.5 inch MS-DOS formatttJ/1.44MB The diskette contains 8 data files, with a header and trailer for each data file. The data files appear to be blocked at 480 bytes and 80 byte records.
No attempt has been made to modify the data by adding end-of-record characters. However, the two binary output files have been padded in the diskette. Persons wishing to use the data copy on diskette must extract data into block and record format appropriate for the system being used.
Data appear to be consistent with information provided by the owner from http://www.cina.com/ snapshot.htm -
