" Power Plant Staffing" Report NUREG/CR-1280 AGENCY:
Nuclear Regulatory Commission ACTION:
Request for Comments.
SUMMARY
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is currently reassessing its requirements regarding the selection, training, and licensing of personnel involved in the operation and maintenance of licensed nuclear power plants. NUREG/CR-1280 is a report prepared by Basic Energy Technology Associates, Inc. under contract to the NRC outlining the results of a comparison of current NRC cequirements, licensed nuclear power plant practices, and the Naval Nuclear Pro-pulsion Program procedures for the selection, training, and qual-ification of these personnel.
Public corirnents on thi s report will be considered in development of new requirements or guidance.
