l On March 20. 1990, the NRC committed to provide you periodic repcrts on_the; implementation status of the T.ree Mile Island (TMI) Action Plan R Jirements-at commercial nuclear power plants. The enclosed' Supplement 2 to.OREG-1435

-contains our most recent assessment of licensee actions and commitments 41n-this area.

Continued progress has been made.in reducing-the number o.f TMl' Action' items not _ implemented.

Since our last report, the number cf unimplemented items has.

-been reduced from'123 to 86, with 37 of the open items being-at-three _ plants:

j Browns Ferry ~ Units 1,-2, and 3.

The remaining 49.open items are dispersed among_45 plants.

All action requirements have been completed at 621 f acili t les'.
