Dear Mr. Quay:
of this letter provides a report entitled ADS Discharge Investigation & 1RWST liydrodynamic Global Analysis. This report describes the development of forcing functions for hydrodynamic loads from the discharge of the ADS through the spargers in the IRWST. The analysis of fluid structure interaction effects in the test tank is included in the report. This report is Westinghouse proprietary. provides a non-proprietary version of the report.
This report is in support of the responses to FSER open items 480.1105F through 480.ll10F (OITS
- 6374 through #6379). Submittal of this report completes the Westinghouse actions on these open items. The Westinghouse status column m the OITS for these items is " Action N." The NRC should review the enclosures and inform Westinghouse of the status to be designated in the "NRC Status" column of OITS.
The Westinghouse Electric Company, a division of CBS Corporation ("Westingl ouse"), copyright notice, proprietary information notice, application for withholding and af6 davit are also attached.
