Enclosed is Westinghouse Topical Report WCAP-14807, "NOTRUMP Final Validation Report for AP600." This report evaluates the performance of the NOTRUMP computer code in predicting small ,

break Loss of Coolant Accident (LOCA) thermal-hydmulic efTects for the AP600 plant design. The i Westinghouse NOTRUMP code has been compamd to a series of separate effects and integral systems effects tests which capture the thermal-hydraulic phenomena ofinterest of the AP600 small break LOCA transient. j j

1his report is provided to assist the ongoing staff review of the NOTRUMP computer code application i for AP600. Chapter 8, covering validation of the NOTRUMP code against tests performed at the test facility at Oregon State University, has not been included in the enclosed report. As with discussed with the staff submittal of eight chapters of the report at this time will allow the NRC staff to begin l their review. Chapter 8 will be submitted in Review 2 of the report along with any changes necessitated by the final resiew.
