l The enclosure to this letter provides a draft chapter to the WGOTHIC Applications Report. The draft -

chapter addresses the effects of mixing and stratification on AP600 containment response to design basis accidents and how these effects are addressed in the AP600 DBA Evaluation Model. The draft ,

chapter is provided at this time to allow the staff to begin their review of mixing and statification effects. Comments and questions on the enclosure would be appreciated by August 1,1996.

The Westinghouse Electric Corporation copyright notice, proprietary information notice, application for withholding and affidavit are also attached.
