TO ALL LICENSEES AND APPLICANTS FOR OPERATING POWER REACTORS AND HOLDERS OF CONSTRUCTION PERMITS FOR POWER REACTORS
Gentlemen:
SUBJECT: FILINGS RELATING TO 10 CFR 50 PRODUCTION AND UTILIZATION FACILITIES (Generic Letter No. 82-30)
The purpose of this letter is to remind all Construction Permit applicants, holders and licensees that all applications, request for amendments and exemptions and responses to NRC information requests regarding licensing decisions on specific nuclear reactors, testing facilities and other utilization facilities are required by 10 CFR 50 to be filed with Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Washington,DC 20555.
It continues to be acceptable and you are encouraged to address such correspondence to the attention of particular branch within the Division of Licensing that has project management responsibility within NRC for a specific facility.
All licensing correspondence to the NRC on the WNP-2 project, for example, should be addressed as follows:
