In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q)(5) and 10 CFR 72.44(f), NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC (NextEra) hereby submits a description of changes to the Point Beach Nuclear Plant (PBNP)

Emergency Plan and a summary of the analysis demonstrating that the changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the plan. The plan continues to meet the requirements in 10 CFR 50 Appendix E and the planning standards of 1 0 CFR 50.47(b). The changes were incorporated in the following procedure issued December 11, 2024 at PBNP:

EPIP 1.2.1, Emergency Action Levels and Technical Basis, Rev. 30 Description of Changes and Summary of Analysis EPIP 1.2.1 was revised for the installation of the new Special Particulate Iodine and Noble Gas Monitor (SPING) 23.

This change was evaluated in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q)(3). These changes were determined to not reduce the effectiveness of the PBNP Emergency Plan.
