DECLARATION OF AUTHORIZED OFFICER OF CRAFT IN SUPPORT OF PETITION TO REOPEN HEARING IN DOCKET NO. 50-341 LRA, 2014-0109 Under penalty of perjury, I, Jessie Pauline Collins, declare as follows:
- 1. I am authorized by Citizens Resistance at Fermi 2 (CRAFT), an unincorporated association, whose address is 17397 Five Points St., Redford MI 48240, to sign this Declaration. CRAFT is formally ad organizationally opposed to the re-licensing and operation of the Fermi 2 nuclear reactor for which the Detroit Edison Company (DTE Electric, a subsidiary of DTE Energy, has sent a License Renewal Application to the NRC.
- 2. CRAFT has approximately 1,000 members, many who live within 50 miles of Fermi 2.
CRAFT is concerned that DTE has violated federal law which could adversely affect the health and safety and the integrity of the environment in which CRAFT members reside and recreate.
- 3. To ensure that the re-licensing decision for Fermi 2 protects a safe and healthy environment, CRAFT seeks to formally reopen the hearing and submit a new contention on behalf of its membership with standing.
