The purpose of this letter is to notify the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC (NextEra) is ready for the NRC to assess the effectiveness of actions taken to address the external flooding white finding and collective white inputs as stated in Reference 1.

NextEra has completed investigations to determine the root and contributing causes of the individual and collective performance issues associated with the degraded cornerstone. The extent of condition and extent of cause of the individual and collective performance issues have also been evaluated, and a determination has been made whether safety culture components were causes of or contributors to the issues. Corrective actions have been developed to address the root and contributing causes and to prevent recurrence of the significant performance issues. NextEra believes the corrective actions taken and planned will address the issues and provide the basis for sustained, improved performance at Point Beach.

This letter contains no new regulatory commitments.
