Anticipated Transient Without Scram (A'IWS)
Attached is a report describing how the Fermi 2 Alternate Rod Insertion '(ARI) and Recirculation Pump Trip (IPT) systems will meet the requirements of 10CFR50.62. This report meets the requirement of ICCF'50M2(c)(6) for the ARI and RPT systems and fulfills the commitzt.it made in References 2 and 3 to describe how Fermi meets the A'IWS rule. This letter supercedes the information provided in Reference 4.
The description of planned modifications to the Standby Liquid Control System to achieve compliance with ICCFR50.62 was previously submitted in Reference 5.
