NRC to NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC dated August 9, 2023.
In accordance with the requirements listed in the referenced letter, NextEra Energy Point Beach (NextEra) is submitting the initial license examination outline for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant. This submittal is made in accordance with the provisions of NUREG-1021, "Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors, Revision 12". The initial license examination is scheduled for the weeks of January 29, March 4, and March 11 2024. The following materials are uploaded to 'The Box':
One (1) current Form 1.3-1, Examination Security Agreement One (1) Form 2.3-2, Operating Test Quality Checklist One (1) Form 2.3-4, Written Examination Quality Checklist Two (2) corrected Forms 3.2-1, Administrative Topics Outline (one each for Reactor Operator
[RO] and Senior Reactor Operator [SRO])
Two (2) corrected Forms 3.2-2, Control Room/In-Plant Systems Outline (Reactor Operator [RO],
and Senior Reactor Operator Instant [SRO-I]
Four (4) corrected Forms 3.3-1, Scenario Outline (one for each projected scenario and spare)
Four (4) corrected Forms 3.4-1, Transient and Event Checklist (one for each team)
