Emaih: veggielady@yahoo.com rr General Comment Re:VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY, DOCKET NOS. 50-338 AND 50-339, NORTH ANNA POWER STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2, LOUISA COUNTY, VIRGINIA North Anna 1 & 2's design basis was exceeded in 2011, by the unprecedented 5.8 earthquake and the NRC should not allow amendments to extend the usual required frequency testing.
Relying on "visual" inspections and in "accessible" areas isn't foolproof....specially since we know it's already leaking.
The continued use of the "Leak before break procedures" by the NRC, is certainly not reassuring.
Leaks should be fixed, NOT just monitored!
