o Let Entergy out of evacuation planning, especially while Yankee moves spent fuel from the fuel pool into dry casks using their creaky cranes, 1500 feet from the Vernon elementary school.
o Let Entergy approve a decommissioning plan based only on past reports without taking a single test of the soil or water to determine whats the real condition of the site.
o Let Entergy approve with decommissing for 54 years while contamination Entergy knows is there today spreads further into soil and water, and sends cleanup costs up.
o Let Entergy get away with cheap dry casks, on an unprotected chunk of concrete in the flood plain, with no Plan B for if one or more crack or leak radiation.
The NRC must o Change its decommissioning process to include a substantive, active role by the host state and the citizens of host communities in the evacuation zone. An advisory panel is a whitewash.
