Dockets 50-266 and 50-301 Security Plan Revisions Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 On August 1, 2002, Revision 1 of the Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC) Security Safeguards and Contingency Plan was submitted to the NRC. The plan contains an appendix specific to Point Beach Nuclear Plant (PBNP). The revision involved changes to Chapter 4.0, Protected Area Access.
Following further consideration, NMC has decided to withdraw that revision. Enclosed Revision 2 formally withdraws the Revision 1 by reverting to the language contained in Revision 0.
On August 2, 2002, Revision 1 of Chapter 3.0 Picture Badge and Biometric Systems, was submitted to the Commission. The enclosed Revision 2 clarifies our intent regarding issuance of badges that may become unavailable and does not restrict issuance of replacement picture badges to those that have only been lost or damaged.
