Subject:

Notification of Supplemental Inspection Readiness In Reference 2 the NRC determined that a supplemental inspection, using Inspection Procedure (IP) 95001, "Supplemental Inspection for One or Two White Inputs in a Strategic Performance Area," will be conducted when DTE Electric Company (DTE) notifies the NRC of its readiness for the NRC to review the actions taken to address one greater-than-green inspection finding in the Emergency Preparedness Cornerstone of the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Action Matrix. The final significance determination of the finding was documented in Reference 2.

Mr. Billy Dickson, Chief, Branch 5, Division of Reactor Projects, was verbally notified on July 26, 2017 by Mr. Scott Maglio of DTE's readiness for the NRC to conduct the supplemental inspection. As a follow-up to that verbal notification, this letter informs the NRC of DTE's readiness for the NRC to conduct the subject inspection.

No new commitments are being made in this submittal.
