STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) hereby withdraws the referenced proposed amendment to South Texas Project Units 1 and 2 Operating Licenses NPF-76 and NPF-80. The proposed amendment would have extended the Allowed Outage Time (AOT) for an inoperable Class 1E vital 120-vac inverter from 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> to 7 days.
STPNOC currently has a broad-scope risk-managed Technical Specification (TS) amendment request with the NRC for review that addresses the TS 3.8.3.1 Allowed Outage Time. Therefore, a specific TS 3.8.3.1 amendment request is not needed.
