In the referenced letter in response to NRC Generic Letter 2003-01, "Control Room Habitability,"
the STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) committed to submit a Technical Specification (TS) change to include periodic verification of control room inleakage within 90 days after TSTF-448 was published in the Federal Register as available for use by licensees. TSTF-448 was published in the Federal Register on January 17, 2007. This letter is notification of the STPNOC intent to postpone the submittal of TS change until July 6, 2007. STPNOC resources are currently engaged in preparing our Alternate Source Term submittal. Additionally, STPNOC resources will be involved in the Unit 2 spring refueling outage. Additional time is also needed to develop a submittal that correctly incorporates the Standard Technical Specification format of the TSTF into the South Texas Project custom TS format.
