Letter from Stewart B. Minahan, Nebraska Public Power District, to U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, dated September 24, 2008, "License Renewal Application" (NLS2008071).
Dear Sir or Madam:
The purpose of this letter is for the Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) to provide the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) an annual update to the referenced Cooper Nuclear Station (CNS) License Renewal Application (LRA), in accordance with 10 CFR 54.21 (b).
During NRC review of the CNS LRA, NPPD is required by 10 CFR 54.21(b) to provide an annual report of changes to the CNS current.licensing basis (CLB) that materially affects the contents of the CNS LRA, including the Final Safety Analysis Report supplement. NPPD has completed the annual CLB review and has concluded that no changes to the LRA are required.
The General Manager of Plant Operations is authorized to sign under oath or affirmation in the absence of the Chief Nuclear Officer in accordance with Regulatory Issue Summary 01-018.
