Monthly Operating Report for June 2004, Docket 50-298 The purpose of this letter is to provide the Cooper Nuclear Station Monthly Operating Report for June 2004. In accordance with the guidance provided by Generic Letter 97-02, this report includes an Operating Data Report and Unit Shutdown Report for the month ofiJune. In accordance with Technical Specification 5.6.4, this report also includes documentation of' challenges to the safety/relief valves.

2. Maximnum Decpendable Capacity (Net MWe): 764.0 NA NA The gross electrical output as measured at the output tenninals of the turbine-generator during the most restrictive seasonal conditions minus the nomial station service loads.
3. Number of llours the Reactor Was Critical. 720.0 4.367.0 203383.3 The total number of hlours during the gross hours of the reporting period that the reactor was critical.
4. Nutober of Ilours the Generator Was OtI Line. 720.0 4367.0 200)473.3 (Also called Service I lours). The total number of hours during thc gross hours of the reporting period that the unit operated with tltc breakers closed to tlte station bus.

The sum of the hours the generator was ott line plus the total outage hours should equal the gross hours in tlte reporting period.
