NPPD Letter No. NLS2000012 to U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission from J. H. Swailes (NPPD) dated February 17, 2000 - Intent to Apply for Renewal of Operating License In the referenced letter, Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) informed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of its intent to apply for renewal of Operating License DPR-46 for Cooper Nuclear Station. The original target for submittal was 2003.
NPPD is focusing its resources on near term priorities and has decided to delay its application for license renewal beyond 2003. NPPD will inform the NRC of its revised date when plans and a schedule to submit an application for license renewal are developed.
