Dear Sir or Madam:
Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Entergy) operates the Indian Point Energy Center (IPEC)
Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) in acc9rdance with the general license provisions of 10 CFR72.210. The conditions of 10 CFR 72.212(b)(2) include the registration of a spent fuel cask within 30 days of using a cask for the storage of spent nuclear fuel.
Accordingly, this letter hereby registers the use on May 08, 2019, of the, Twenty Sixth (26th)
IPEC Unit 2 dry fuel storage cask and also registers the use on May 22, 2019 of the Twenty Seventh (27'h) IPEC Unit 2 dry fuel storage cask. These casks were loaded to Amendment 9 Rev 1 of Holtec International CoC #1014 and the corresponding Holtec International HI-STORM 100 Cask System FSAR Revision 13. These casks are the Forty Sixth (461h) and Forty Seventh (47'h) IPEC dry fuel storage casks to be added to the IPEC ISFSI pad (26 and 27 from Unit No. 2, 15 from Unit No. 3, and 5 from Unit No.1).
This letter also provides the following registration information associated with the Forty Sixth (461h) and Forty Seventh (47'h) HI-STORM 100 cask system that was placed into storage on the IPEC ISFSI pad [Docket No. 72-51]. The fuel contained in these casks is from IPEC Unit 2 Nuclear Power Plant, Reactor License No. DPR-26. Docket No. 50-247.
