On February 28, 2014, Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) provided to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) the 2013 Annual Fitness for Duty Program Performance Data for the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant, the Joseph M.
Farley Nuclear Plant, and the Vogtle Electric Generating Station. The reports were submitted electronically via the Electronic Information Exchange and included 1) the NRC Single Positive Test Form, 2) the Annual Reporting Form for Drug and Alcohol Tests, and 3) the Annual Fatigue Reporting Form.
An internal audit of this information recently discovered an error in the Vogtle Fatigue Reporting Form. The 2013 form reported that there were seven fatigue assessments performed for post events. However, it should have indicated that there were six post-event fatigue assessments and one for-cause assessment.
Accordingly SNC has revised the 2013 Annual Fatigue Reporting Form for Vogtle Units 1 and 2, and provided it to the NRC via the Electronic Information Exchange on September 25, 2015.
