Dear Sir or Madam:

By letter dated January 28, 2015 (Reference 1), Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. committed to providing the NRC's staff with a revised version of NETCO Report NET-300067-01, Revision 0, "Criticality Safety Analysis of the Indian Point Unit 2 Spent Fuel Pool with Credit for Inserted Neutron Absorber Panels," which was previously provided for review and approval by Reference

3. In our letter, we committed to revising the analysis to address the staff's concerns regarding the depletion code validation methodology by March 4, 2015.

Enclosed in Attachments 1 and 2 are copies of the revised Proprietary and Non-Proprietary versions of the NETCO document "Criticality Safety Analysis of the Indian Point Unit 2 Spent Fuel Pool with Credit for Inserted Neutron Absorber Panels". As previously mentioned in Reference 3, this analysis is being submitted for NRC review and approval prior to a future license amendment request (LAR). The LAR would credit NRC approval of NET-300067-01

NL-15-020 Docket No. 50-247 Page 2 of 2 and would request approval for proposed Technical Specification changes associated with the installation of new neutron absorber panels.

NET-300067-01, Revision 1 contains information that Westinghouse and Holtec consider to be proprietary and, therefore, exempt from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.390. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 and in support of this request for withholding, affidavits executed by the respective parties are provided in Attachment 3.
