By letter dated March 6, 2014, Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) submitted Proposed lnservice Inspection Alternative HNP-181-AL T -HDPE-01, Version 1.0. Based on subsequent discussion with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), SNC hereby withdraws this Alternative. SNC intends to resubmit this Alternative as HNP-181-ALT-HDPE-01, Version 2.0 once additional design information for this Alternative is obtained.
