Dear Sir or Madam:

On March 12, 2012, the NRC issued Reference 1 to all power reactor licensees and holders of construction permits in active or deferred status. Enclosure 4 of Reference 1 requested that each licensee perform flood protection walkdowns and report the results within 180 days of NRC endorsement of the flooding walkdown procedure (NEI 12-07).

Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Entergy) completed the flood protection walkdowns

NL-13-107 Docket No. 50-286 Page 2 of 2 at IPEC and submitted the results in Reference 2. Reference 2 contained open items where restricted access prevented walkdown of certain flood protection features.

Walkdowns of the restricted access items have been completed and this letter provides the results. This submittal closes the open items in Reference 2.

The attached table provides a list of the restricted access items inspected, their respective disposition, and any action planned or taken. As a result of the inspections:

There were 2 deficiencies found. One was entered into the Plant's CAP program to correct as part of the flood hazard analysis as noted.

No temporary measures were required as a result of the completed inspections.

APM's were collected and documented in the walkdown record forms for each applicable item inspected in accordance with NEI 12-07.

All Restricted Items inspected were within the plant maintenance and monitoring programs unless identified as a deficiency in the attached table.

One of the restricted access items was reclassified as Inaccessible.

There are no new commitments identified in this submittal.

If you have any questions concerning the content of this letter, please contact Mr. Robert Walpole, Manager, Licensing at (914) 254-6710.

I declare ujqder penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct. Executed on August 1Ž2013.

Respectfully, JAV/sp
