Dear Sir or Madam:
This letter provides the Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) 30-day response to Generic Letter (GL) 2006-01 for Indian Point Nuclear Generating Unit Nos. 2 & 3 (Indian Point Units 2 & 3). As requested by GL 2006-01, ENO is planning to submit a request for an amendment to the technical specifications for Indian Point Units 2 & 3 consistent with the CLIIP associated with TSTF-449, Revision 4. ENO anticipates that the aforementioned request for amendment to be provided to the NRC on or before May 31, 2006.
