On October 29, 2004, the NRC issued the Safety Evaluation for the Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) Security Plan, which includes the Physical Security Plan, the Contingency Plan, and the Training and Qualification Plan, for all three nuclear plants operated by SNC. The Safety Evaluation has been reviewed. In accordance with Order EA-03-086,Section III.C., this letter serves as notification that the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant has fully implemented the approved revision of the SNC Security Plan.
Mr. Jeffrey T. Gasser states he is Executive Vice President of Southern Nuclear Operating Company, is authorized to execute this oath on behalf of Southern Nuclear Operating Company and to the best of his knowledge and belief, the facts set forth in this letter are true.
