Ianomaly (unplanned).
SUMMARY
- At 00:00 on August 1, 2004 Unit 2 was at approximately 90% power while investigating a reactivity anomaly. On August 3, in accordance with the plant Technical Specifications, reactor power was reduced to below 75% power after the investigation determined the likely cause of the power anomaly to be a mispositioned control rodlet. At 01:25 on August 7, 2004 Unit 2 Shutdown to verify full insertion capability of all control rods. At 22:24 on August 7, 2004 Unit 2 began Ramp up after unplanned shutdown and the Unit returned to 100% power at 19:00 on August 8, 2004. There were no challenges to the Pressurizer PORV's and Pressurizer Safety Valves.
