SUMMARY

At the beginning of May, the DAEC had operated ten days since completion of Refueling Outage 18.

During the month, only one small, brief departure from full-power operation occurred, to 99.5% on May 29 from 09:45 to 12:05, to perform operability testing of the High Pressure Coolant Injection system. In addition, approximately four MWe efficiency losses occurred throughout the month, primarily due to continuing refurbishment of six cells of the 'B' Cooling Tower following RFO 18.
