Pursuant to 10 CFR 52.99(c)(3), Southern Nuclear Operating Company hereby notifies the NRC that as ofApril 12, 2018, Vogtie Electric Generating Plant (VEGP) Unit 3 and Unit 4 Uncompleted Inspections, Tests, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria (ITAAC) Item 2.6.03.05d.i [Index Number 613] has not been completed greater than 225-days priorto initial fuel load. The Enclosure describes the plan for completingthis ITAAC. Southern Nuclear Operating Company will, at a later date, provide additional notifications for ITAAC that have not been completed 225-days priorto initial fuel load.
This notification is informed by the guidance described in NEI 08-01, Industry Guideline for the ITAAC Closure Process Under 10 CFR Part 52, which was endorsed by the NRC in Regulatory Guide 1.215. In accordance with NEI 08-01, this notification includes ITAACfor which required inspections, tests, or analyses have not been performedor have been only partially completed. All ITAAC will be fully completed and all Section 52.99(c)(1) ITAAC Closure Notifications will be submitted to NRCto support the Commission finding that all acceptance criteria are met priorto plant operation, as required by 10 CFR 52.103(g).
This letter contains no new NRC regulatory commitments.

Acceptance Criteria i) Ancillary diesel generator 1 is electrically connected to regulating transformer IDSC-DT-1 ii) Ancillary diesel generator 2 is electrically connected to regulating transformer IDSB-DT-1.
ITAAC Completion Description Ancillary generators 1 and 2 are provided to supply power to the Class 1E directcurrent(dc) and Uninterruptible PowerSupplySystem (IDS) Division C and B regulating transformers, respectively, to supplytheir post-72-hour alternating current (ac) loads. This ITAAC requiresan as-built system inspection to verify that each ancillary generator is electrically connected to its corresponding regulating transformer.
The cables from each ancillary diesel generator to its regulating transformer are installed in accordance with design drawings and specifications issued forconstruction and work package requirements. In-progress cable installation and completed cableterminations are inspected in accordance with the Construction Quality Verification Program (Reference 1). A review ofthe as-built circuit inspection records is performedto confirm ancillary diesel generator 1 is electrically connected to regulating transformer IDSC-DT-1 and ancillary diesel generator2 is electricallyconnected to regulating transformer IDSB-DT-1.
The resultsofthe inspection recordsare summarized in Unit 3 and Unit 4 ITAAC 2.6.03.05d.i Technical Reports (References 2 and 3, respectively) and confirm ancillary diesel generators 1 and 2 are electrically connected to regulating transformers IDSC-DT-1 and IDSB-DT-1, respectively.
The ITAAC Technical Reports are available for NRC inspection as part ofthe Unit 3 and Unit 4 ITAAC 2.6.03.05d.i Completion Packages (References 4 and 5, respectively).
List of ITAAC Findings In accordance with plant procedures for ITAAC completion. Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) performed a review ofall findings pertaining to the subject ITAAC and associated corrective actions. This review, which included now-consolidated ITAAC index 614, found there are no relevant ITAAC findings associated with this ITAAC.
