In our letter dated January 19, 2026, Alpha-Omega Services, Inc. (AOS) requested an amendment to Certificate of Compliance No. 9316. The scope of the amendment request was to consolidate SAR FM9054 Revisions J through J-4 for certificate of compliance 9316 renewal (expiration date July 31, 2026). We are adding Chapter 9 (Management and Maintenance of the AOS Radioactive Material Transport Packaging System), Chapter 10 (NRC Reg Guide 7.9 / IAEA SSR-6 Regulatory Comparison Matrix), and renumbering Chapter 9 to Chapter 11; standardizing the use of NCT and HAC terms; and applying miscellaneous corrections for corrected typos, grammatical and document style edits.
Revisions to certification drawings are for greater clearance requirements in bolt holes on the AOS-100 Shipping Cage, and for certification of silicone compound O-ring material for Cask Lid elastomeric seals.
During our subsequent Teams Meeting on February 27, 2026, your office requested that AOS prepare and submit a PROPRIETARY VERSION and a PUBLIC VERSION of SAR No. FM9054 Revision K which you will find in the resubmittal.
