On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), we are pleased to invite you to the NRCs 38th Regulatory Information Conference (RIC), taking place March 10-12, 2026. This year, the conference will again be a hybrid event, featuring in-person attendees at the Bethesda North Hotel and Conference Center and virtual participants joining remotely through the RIC conference platform.

In alignment with this years theme, Regulation, Innovation, and Collaboration for a Safer Tomorrow, were embracing fresh perspectives and technologies that strengthen our evolving role as a modern, risk-informed regulator." We would be honored to have you join us in person as a speaker for the session titled Forward with Fusion: Deployment Through Collaboration. Your expertise as an Agreement State regulator will bring valuable insights and help spark engaging, informative discussions. This session, chaired by Andrea Kock, will bring together voices from the NRC, Agreement States, the international stage, and industry to discuss how regulations, technological advancements, and collaboration are shaping the near-term deployment of commercial fusion machines.

About the RIC: The RIC is the largest public meeting we host, attracting over 3,000 participants from more than 40 countries and a variety of sectors, including government agencies, industry, international organizations, and the public. Offering the RIC in a hybrid format enables us to reach an even wider audience in the nuclear community.
