ADOPTION OF WATER QUALITY CERTIFICATION ORDER 34024WQ31 FOR THE OPERATING LICENSE RENEWAL FOR DIABLO CANYON POWER PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2, SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY At its public meeting on February 26, 2026, the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Coast Region (Central Coast Water Board) adopted Order 34024WQ31, Clean Water Act Section 401 Water Quality Certification for Federal License, Operating License Renewal for Diablo Canyon Power Plant Units 1 and 2 (Order). The Order is attached. Central Coast Water Board staff will also post the Order online at:

The Orders effective date is February 26, 2026. Thank you for your assistance during the Order adoption process.
