Dear Ms. Karkour:
By letter dated February 4, 2026 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML26035A361), GE Vernova Hitachi (GVH) submitted the subject white paper for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review. The white paper documents the justification that installation of certain structures, systems, and components are considered preconstruction activities for the BWRX-300.
The proprietary enclosure to this letter provides the staffs feedback and observations for GVH to consider in a subsequent application.
