Dear Mr. Patterson:

This is to acknowledge receipt of Mr. Jeremy Dedmons, Director Chemical Plant Operations, letter dated January 15, 2026 (Agencywide Document Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession Number ML26023A043), transmitting Solstice Metropolis Works Plant Configuration Changes for calendar year 2025. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff conducted a preliminary review of the information provided and identified no major deficiencies.

As discussed in Staff Requirements Memorandum for SECY-16-0009, Recommendations Resulting from the Integrated Prioritization and Re-Baselining of Agency Activities (ADAMS Accession Number ML16104A158), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) licensing staff will no longer perform detailed reviews of facility changes made by the licensees under the change authority provisions in 10 CFR 40.35, 70.32, and 70.72.Therefore, we are referring your submittal to the NRC Region II inspection staff for further evaluation of the changes during a future inspection of your facilitys licensed activities.Please note that no cost activity code is being assigned to this action.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this communication will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from ADAMS. The ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web Site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
