Enclosed is an export license application, XSNM3857, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on November 20, 2025, from Alara Logistics requesting a license to export 812 kilograms (kgs) of uranium, enriched up to 19.95%, containing up to 162 kgs of uranium-235, in the form of fuel assemblies. The fuel is for the BR-2 research reactor at the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre.
Assurances from EURATOM that the material will be subject to all the terms and conditions of the agreement for cooperation are required. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.
